A kamado grill is for outdoor use only — never light or run one indoors, in a garage or any enclosed or covered space, because it gets extremely hot and burning charcoal gives off carbon monoxide. The ceramic body is heavy and can crack if dropped or knocked: keep it in its nest or cart or on a sturdy, non-combustible surface, and move it with two or more people. Burn only natural lump charcoal — never lighter fluid or petrol. Keep the stated clearances to walls, furniture and anything combustible, use heat-resistant gloves, and open the lid slowly in stages ("burp" it) to avoid a flashback of flame. The grill and its surfaces stay hot long after cooking — keep children and pets well away, and let the ash cool fully before disposal. CE marked where applicable.
